Cultural Diversity Workshops

The Cultural Diversity Series is an initiative designed to promote cultural awareness, student professional development, and spiritual integration. School of Psychology and Counseling students enrolled in the Psychology doctoral program (Psy.D.) and school faculty present topics that address the various dimensions of diversity (e.g., race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, physical ability, marital status, sexual orientation, and spiritual/religious orientation). Continuing eduction hours are available. All workshops are open to the public with registration.

Continuing Education hours for the Cultural Diversity Series are available. Most Cultural Diversity Series events offer 1 CEU for $9.95. The School of Psychology and Counseling is an approved Continuing Education provider for the APA, NBCC, Virginia Counseling, and and Virginia Psychology CEs. Please see descriptions below. For more information, view our accreditations and the CE website FAQ.
