CD or DVD - Is an excellent medium for storing your final portfolio as well as for backing up your files. They are inexpensive, have large capacity and have long-term reliability. A CD-R or DVD-R (recordable) cannot be erased or changed. A CD-RW or DVD-RW (rewritable) can be be erased and re-recorded over and over. You should have a back up of your portfolio on one or more CDs or DVDs. The recording process is not as easy or as convenient as saving using other storage devices, so you may want to save to your computer hard disk for day-to-day working storage needs.
