The School of Education is honored to serve both active duty and retired military members and their spouses. Our online, evening and weekend, and hybrid courses are designed to make our programs accessible to you no matter where you are or what your schedule may be. The School of Education offers programs that prepare you for a second career in public school, private school, higher education, or educational training.

Joint Forces Staff College
Regent has a Memorandum of Agreement to articulate Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) student credit for completion of Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JCWS) into our School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Robertson School of Government and School of Education.

Financial Aid Opportunities:
Veteran & Active Duty Military Scholarship
The School of Education offers a 25% scholarship to all active duty military personnel and military veterans that are accepted into a School of Education degree seeking program as a full time student. (To qualify, active duty military must submit a copy of their Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) with the admissions application. Veterans must submit a copy of the veteran's DD-214 with the admissions application.)
This scholarship/discount may not be combined with other school-based or University-based aid with the exception of the church-matching grant.
Military Spouse Scholarship
The School of Education offers a 25% scholarship to all military spouses (active duty and veteran) that are accepted into a School of Education degree seeking program as a full time student. Regent University is fully accredited and offers state-approved licensure programs, making the University eligible for the following military assistance programs.
Post-9/11 GI Bill
The Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program allow eligible veterans to attend Regent University virtually free of charge. For more information about this program visit: www.regent.edu/military.
Troops to Teachers
This is a Military program that offers support to service members who want to become certified teachers. This program provides referral assistance, placement services, and financial aid. School of Education eligible programs are the Career Switcher, Elementary Education, and Special Education programs. Tuition Assistance
Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA) is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses of its members. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application processes and restriction. This money is usually paid directly to the institution by the individual services. MyCAA
Unofficially referred to as Spouse Tuition Assistance, the Department of Defense recently expanded Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program can provide up to $4,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses. Learn more.
Army ROTC
Regent University is proud to join forces with the Army ROTC at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. With this joint agreement, School of Education students can take courses toward a Regent University degree while fulfilling their Army ROTC commitment with Old Dominion University. Students desiring to attend Regent on an Army graduate scholarship first apply to Regent for admission, then to Army ROTC at ODU for the graduate scholarship.
