About the Office of International Student Services
Committed To Serve ... That's the motto and attitude of the OISS. From enrollment to graduation, and even beyond, the staff of the OISS is committed to providing the best services possible to Regent's international student community. While our primary services are focused towards the needs of F-1 and J-1 visa holders, the OISS is prepared to serve the non-immigration needs of other visa holders as well. Although the OISS supports international students on many levels, our primary mission is three-fold:
- To provide programs and services that support the cultural, immigration, adjustment, and academic needs of Regent's international student community.
- To educate and advise the entire University community on immigration rules, procedures, and benefits that pertain to Regent's student visa holders.
- To maintain University compliance with governmental regulations and reporting to ensure the University's continued sponsorship of international student visa holders.
